Polish minister names EU countries that would like to receive grain from Ukraine
The new Ukraine-EU trade agreement will require taking into account the interests of various EU countries. In particular, Poland is not interested in importing Ukrainian grain, since it exports it itself, but some other countries would like to receive grain from Ukraine.
This was emphasized in Brussels by the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Czesław Sękiewicz, Ukrinform reports with reference to the bankier.pl portal.
“Poland is not interested in the influx or import of grain (from Ukraine – ed.), because we ourselves export 12-13 million tons of grain and corn. On the other hand, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece, the Netherlands are interested in importing grain, and Germany is also interested in importing corn,” Sękiewicz stated.
For almost 30 years of expertise in the agri markets, UkrAgroConsult has accumulated an extensive database, which became the basis of the platform AgriSupp.
It is a multi-functional online platform with market intelligence for grains and oilseeds that enables to get access to daily operational information on the Black Sea & Danube markets, analytical reports, historical data.
