Poland became the largest buyer of Ukrainian soybean oil in November
In recent years, the largest buyers of Ukrainian oil have been the EU and Asian countries, and November 2025 was no exception. More than 50% of the oil sold was exported to the EU and 43.6% was purchased by Asian countries. This is stated in the AgroDigest of monthly changes in trade in agricultural products of Ukraine.
In November 2025, the greatest demand for Ukrainian oil was observed from the Netherlands, Spain and Poland. The main export of soybean oil was directed to Poland, although products were also actively supplied to other EU countries.
Last month, soybean oil exports decreased by 17.1% to 39.8 thousand tons. Sunflower oil exports, on the contrary, increased by 10.6% to 409.3 thousand tons. Rapeseed oil showed the largest drop – minus 26.8%.
As for sunflower oil, its main supplies are sent to the EU and Asian countries. In particular, Spain, the Netherlands, Italy and India were among the largest buyers of Ukrainian sunflower oil in November. African countries are not the main sales market, most countries purchase only small volumes.
