Over the weekend, 20 ships left Ukrainian ports as part of the “grain initiative”
On October 8, 7 ships with 172.6 thousand tons of agricultural products are heading from the ports of Great Odesa to the countries of Asia and Europe.
The bulk carrier CORNELIA M with 60,000 tons of Ukrainian wheat left for Vietnam from the ️”Southern” port. The ships SHAMAN WISDOM, LADY EVA, ORIS SOFI left the berths of the Odesa port. Bulk carriers LAURUS, ENEIDA and tanker CHEM HERO from the port of Chornomorsk.
Since the departure of the first ship with Ukrainian food, 6.6 million tons of agricultural products have been exported. A total of 292 ships with food for the countries of Asia, Europe and Africa left Ukrainian ports.
On October 9, 13 ships with 230.7 thousand tons of agricultural products left the ports of “Odesa”, “Pivdenny” and “Chornomorsk” for the countries of Africa, Asia and Europe.
Among them are bulk carriers ARGONAUT, on board of which 71 thousand tons of wheat for Indonesia, ALI A (7 thousand tons of wheat for Lebanon) and MEHMET BEY (8 thousand tons of soybeans for Egypt).
Since the start of the “grain corridor”, 305 vessels have exported 6.8 million tons of Ukrainian food to the countries of Asia, Europe and Africa.
The agreement on the “grain corridor” was signed on July 22 in Istanbul in the presence of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres. The two relevant documents were signed by representatives of Ukraine, Russia, the UN and Turkey. It is about unblocking three Ukrainian ports: Odesa, Chornomorsk, and Pivdenniy.
