Over six months, 661 vessels passed through the Ukrainian grain corridor
Ukraine exported more than 20 million tons of cargo from Odesa ports to 32 countries of the world through the Ukrainian corridor for 6 months. This was reported by Deputy Prime Minister for the restoration of Ukraine Olexandr Kubrakov.
“For six months of work of the Ukrainian corridor from the ports of Greater Odesa 661 vessels exported more than 20 million tons of cargo to 32 countries of the world. 14.3 million tons are products of Ukrainian agrarians. Ukraine continues to ensure food security of the world,” Kubrakov said.
According to him, the ports of Greater Odesa are increasing cargo transshipment. Thus, in January, 6.3 million tons were exported – this figure is almost equal to the pre-war level.
Kubrakov noted that the ports are awaiting the approach of another 104 ships, which should export more than 3 million tons of cargo.
