Over 4 mln ha of winter crops have been sown in Ukraine

As of October 14, 2025, Ukrainian farmers have sown 4.083 mln ha of winter crops. This is 62% of the projected area.
Winter grain is sown in all regions of Ukraine.
In particular, the following were sown:
- winter wheat – 2.821 mln ha;
- winter barley – 222 thsd ha;
- winter rye – 54.8 thsd ha.
Among the leaders in grain crops are Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovohrad and Poltava regions.
Winter rapeseed has been sown on 985.3 thsd ha. Most of it is in Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi and Mykolaiv regions. Currently, farmers in 13 regions have completed sowing winter rapeseed.
