Kazakhstan restricts import of wheat for half a year
Minister of Agriculture of Kazakhstan Aidarbek Saparov has signed the order on restriction of import of wheat to Kazakhstan for half a year.
Import by road, water and rail is prohibited, with the exception of the import of wheat by rail to poultry and flour milling enterprises exclusively for production and consumption, says the order.
The imported wheat can’t be sold within 6 months at domestic or foreign market. The restriction will not apply to railway transit of wheat.
