June witnessed sunflower oil exports from Kazakhstan fall to a season low
Sunflower oil exports from Kazakhstan in September-June 2020/21 totaled 82.5 KMT (-7% on the year), with June’s volume being the smallest since the season’s beginning – at 2.6 KMT, UkrAgroConsult reports.
Export potential in MY 2020/21 will be 20% lower y-o-y due to the imposition of export quotas for regulating domestic prices.
Dynamics of exports to key destination markets are the following: Uzbekistan (+60%), China (-65%), Tajikistan (+60%), Afghanistan (-12%).
