Jordan purchased 50 thsd tons of barley in a tender
Jordan has purchased about 50,000 metric tons of feed barley in an international tender held on April 8. According to traders, the deal was awarded to Bunge at an estimated price of $256.95 per ton on a cost and freight (C&F) basis.
Shipment of the purchased volume is scheduled for the first half of August. Market participants note that final estimates of price and volume may still be subject to revision. Meanwhile, Jordan has not yet issued any new tenders for barley imports.
