Jordan buys 50 thsd tons of barley in tender
Jordan’s state grain buyer purchased about 50 thsd tons of feed barley in an international tender on September 9. According to traders, the grain was purchased from Bunge at an estimated price of $318.5/t C&F for shipment in the second half of October.
Soufflet, Olam and Cofco also participated in the tender.
In addition, Jordan is expected to issue a new tender in the coming days for 50–60 thsd tons of feed barley, with the tender closing on September 16. Shipments are planned in consignments in January and February 2027.
