In the new season, Ukraine sent 400,000 tons of grain for export
The volume of exports of grain and pulses crops from Ukraine in the 2022/23 MY as of July 11 amounted to more than 400,000 tons, which is 30% less than last season.
This is evidenced by the data of the State Customs Service, according to the notification of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.
Thus, 71,000 tons of wheat were exported during the season, which is 66% less than last year’s volume.
The supply of barley to foreign markets amounted to 17,000 tons (-6%).
311,000 tons of corn were exported. This indicator is 9% less than on the same date of the previous season.
The export of Ukrainian flour in the 2022/23 MY amounted to 1,000 tons, which is 63% less than last season.
For reference: in 2021/22 MY, the export of grain and pulses crops amounted to 48.6 million tons: wheat — 18.7 million tons; barley — 5.8 million tons; rye — 161.5 thousand tons; corn — 23.4 million tons; flour – 70.9 thousand tons
