Guterres: I don’t think it makes sense to renew grain deal
The UN is in contact with both sides regarding the resumption of the grain deal. UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said this during a press conference in New York.
“We are in contact with both sides and are trying to find new forms. At the same time, I don’t think it makes sense to resume the grain deal,” Guterres said.
At the same time, he noted that he would consider it useful “to have conditions for freedom of navigation in the Black Sea.”
