Grain from Ukraine: about 12 mln people received food
Since the opening of Odesa’s ports, the UN World Food Program (WFP) Grain from Ukraine has shipped 25 vessels with 160 thousand tons of agricultural products. This was reported by WFP Deputy Director Marianne Ward.
She noted that the organization insures all our cargo and ships against military risks.
“Since the launch of the Grain from Ukraine initiative, we have already shipped 160 thousand tons. Soon another 40 thousand tons will be added. With this food, we have fed approximately 12 million people,” said Marianne Ward.
At the end of July, we will ship corn to Malaysia and Mozambique.
