Georgia reduced wheat imports by 7%
From January to May 2026, Georgia imported 142,700 tons of wheat, a 7% decrease compared to the first five months of last year, according to the Zerno On-Line agency.
Almost all of the wheat was supplied from Russia (128,400 tons). Kazakhstan supplied 7,800 tons, and the UAE supplied 6,400 tons.
