FAO launches three-year support plan for Ukraine: almost 240,000 farmers will receive assistance
Almost 240 thousand Ukrainian farmers will receive support within the framework of the three-year Emergency Response and Early Recovery Plan, which is being launched for Ukraine by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). This was announced by the Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Taras Vysotsky.
According to him, the plan is designed for 2026-2028 and will be implemented in cooperation with the Government of Ukraine in accordance with the state priorities for the development of the agricultural sector.
“It combines emergency assistance for farmers — seeds, feed, cash support — with long-term solutions: demining of agricultural land, grants, vouchers and granaries,” Taras Vysotsky noted.
The Deputy Minister emphasized that such support will allow farmers not only to survive in war conditions, but also to work safely and plan the development of farms in the medium term.
