Dry and warm weather in Ukraine will allow to complete the corn harvest
Temperatures have returned to normal after a hard freeze in the U.S., and showers are expected across much of the Midwest and Great Plains to improve wheat crop conditions.
Wheat quotations on world exchanges remain at a low level under the pressure of the unsold crop of Russian wheat, which remains the cheapest on the market. According to the MSG of the Russian Federation, the country harvested 105.7 million tons of wheat in 2022, while the USDA estimated it at 91 million tons. In 2022/23, Argentina will reduce wheat exports to an 8-year low of 6 million tons, compared to 15.3 million tons in 2021/22. At the same time, the total export sales of wheat amount to 8.9 million tons, so traders will be forced to buy almost 3 million tons on other markets.
