Delays in the Sea of ​​Marmara increased up to 14 days

The average duration of the delay of ships with Ukrainian grain in the Sea of ​​Marmara increased to 14 days – in connection with the expectation of inspections by the SCC.

Vessels that left the ports of Great Odesa on September 1-17 waited an average of 53.8 hours (2.25 days) for inspectors to arrive. Vessels that departed on September 18-30 waited an average of 272 hours (11.4 days) for the inspection to arrive. Andriy Klymenko, the project manager at the Institute of Black Sea Strategic Studies, told about it.

“In October, the situation (according to preliminary estimates) got even worse, up to 15-16 days,” Klymenko wrote on Facebook.

Similar “achievements” for individual grain vessels already took place in September: the maximum waiting time of PATRONUS 528 hours – 22 days, BLUE ONE 494 hours – 20.6 days, LADY AYANA 483 hours – 20.2 days, MAGNUM FORTUNE 409 hours – 17, 1 day, added Klymenko.

“I think it is clear to everyone which member of the SCC this is coming from,” added Klymenko.
