China Q1 pork output up 1.2% y/y

China’s first-quarter pork output rose 1.2% from a year earlier to 16.02 million metric tons, according to the data from the National Bureau of Statistics on Wednesday.
China slaughtered 194.76 million hogs in the quarter, up 0.1% on a year earlier, the data showed.
