Canada maintains strong canola exports

Canola shipped 516,000 tonnes in first two weeks of April.
Canola exports are continuing at a strong pace despite concerns about U.S. tariffs. April exports are forecast to top 800,000 tonnes.
Canola shipped 516,000 tonnes in the first two weeks of April, according to Oil World and the Canadian Grain Commission. Exports remained strong for the period April 7-13.
Since the start of the season, total canola exports have reached 7.5 million tonnes. This is well above the 4.5 million tonnes in the same period last season and the five-year average of 6.3 million tonnes.
Canola stocks in Canada are expected to decline significantly by the end of July 2025. Stocks are forecast to be in the range of 1.4-1.5 million tonnes, down from 3 million tonnes a year ago.
