Brazil’s soybean planting pace lags behind last year’s
According to the consulting company AgRural, by September 26, sowing of soybeans in Brazil was carried out on 2% of the planned area. This is reported by Zerno On-line agency.
A week earlier, 0.9% of the area was sown, a year ago – 5.2%.
In the main grain-producing state, Parana, sowing has advanced thanks to rains in the second half of September. But in other states, hot weather and lack of rainfall have slowed fieldwork.
