Brazilian soybean exports to rise in March – forecast
Brazil this month may send abroad about 12.8 million tons of soybeans – it is almost 35% higher than in February (9.5 million tons). This forecast was announced by analysts of the national association Anec. At the same time, experts specify that shipments in March 2023 were higher – at 14.4 million tons.
“In the ports of Brazil with shipment in the period from March 3 to 9, 3.8 million tons of soybeans were prepared for shipment, a week earlier – 3 million tons,” – said experts.
They also believe that 2.1 million tons of soybean meal will be exported from the country during the reporting period, compared to 1.4 million tons in February and 1.8 million tons in March 2023.
As for grains, shipments of Brazilian corn in the current month are forecast at 146,800 tons (713,600 tons in February; 780,100 tons in March 2023), wheat – 613,900 tons (538,400 tons; 485,400 tons).
