Algeria purchased 600 thsd tons of wheat
On July 17, Algerian state-owned company OAIC purchased 600 thsd tons of soft wheat of random origin at a tender. This is reported by Zerno On-Line agency with reference to European traders. The purchase price is not disclosed.
Ten companies took part in the tender:
ME Solaris, which offered 129 thsd tons for delivery
Viterra – 120 thsd tons
Lecureur – 60 thsd tons
Olam – 60 thsd tons
LDC – 60 thsd tons
Bunge – 60 thsd tons
Andersons – 30 thsd tons
Avere – 30 thsd tons
Buildcom – 30 thsd tons
SNBI – 30 thsd tons
