Global agricultural exports fell by 15% in 2025, with revenues falling by 24%.
Global agricultural exports in 2025 totaled approximately 2.3 billion tonnes, a 15% decrease from 2024. Total revenue from agricultural exports to other countries decreased by 24% to $1.6 trillion.
The largest export revenues by country and commodity were:
- Brazil — soybeans (over $43.5 billion), beef (over $16.6 billion), coffee (over $14.9 billion), and sugar (over $14.1 billion);
- Indonesia — palm oil (over $24.4 billion);
- United States — corn (over $18.9 billion), soybeans (over $16.5 billion);
- Malaysia — palm oil (over $14.8 billion);
- India — rice (over $11 billion).
