Algeria has announced a tender for the purchase of wheat
Algerian state-owned company OAIC has announced a tender for the purchase of at least 50,000 tons of soft wheat of any origin, Reuters reports.
Bids for the tender will close on December 3. Bids will be valid until December 4.
Under the tender terms, wheat shipments will take place between February 1-15 and February 16-28 if the wheat originates in Europe or the Black Sea region. For wheat shipments from South America or Australia, the deadline is extended by one month.
