On April 16, the Jordanian Ministry of Industry and Trade cancelled a tender for the purchase of 120,000 tonnes of feed barley of any origin for shipment in August-September. This was reported by the Zerno On-Line agency with reference to European traders. Four companies took part in the tender: Viterra, Nibulon, Dreyfus, Cargill. The reasons for the cancellation were not disclosed.
The next tender for the purchase of 120,000 tonnes of feed barley of any origin for shipment in August-September will be held on April 23.
