Half of the cargo flow at Ukrainian ports is agricultural products
Ukrainian seaports have processed 40 million tons of goods since the beginning of 2026, more than half of which are agricultural products.
This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction – Minister of Community and Territorial Development Oleksiy Kuleba.
“Ukrainian seaports have processed 40 million tons of cargo since the beginning of 2026. More than half of this volume – more than 20 million tons – is agricultural products, which ensure the food security of dozens of countries around the world,” the report says.
Kuleba emphasized that the maritime industry continues to operate under constant Russian attacks. Since the beginning of the year alone, the enemy has sent more than 1,500 strike drones to Ukrainian ports.
In total, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russia has damaged or destroyed 966 port infrastructure facilities and more than 200 civilian vessels. As a result of attacks on ports, 257 civilians were injured or killed.
Despite all the challenges, the Ukrainian maritime corridor continues to operate. The ports ensure stable exports of Ukrainian products, the Deputy Prime Minister concluded.
