MHP is considering entering the Argentine poultry market
Ukrainian MHP is considering the possibility of entering the Argentine poultry market. The company considers this direction to be promising for further international development. This was stated by the founder and CEO of MHP Yuriy Kosyuk during the Concorde Capital investment conference in Kyiv.
According to him, the company is analyzing the Argentine market and sees significant potential for growth there.
Kosyuk positively assessed the economic reforms of Argentine President Javier Milley, in particular the liberalization of the economy and the labor market, which, in his opinion, improve the conditions for doing business.
The founder of MHP also recalled that the company had previously faced trade restrictions on the European market. In response, the agricultural holding began to invest in production assets in Europe and expand its presence through the acquisition of local companies.
According to Kosyuk, after the agreement to purchase the Greek chicken producer Nitsiakos, MHP is ahead of No. 2 in the European market by approximately 2.5 times and has great growth potential.
“The market is growing. The European market is great, lazy – the horse didn’t lie down to do anything. The opportunities are catastrophically great. In Greece, we will grow, I think, two and a half times in a year and a half. And we bought the market leader,” Kosyuk added.
