Zelenskyy offers Lebanese president to create food hub
On January 30, Volodymyr Zelenskyy had his first conversation with Lebanese President General Joseph Aoun.
According to Zelenskyy, he congratulated him on his election and “wished stability and security to Lebanon and the entire Middle East.”
“I thanked Lebanon for supporting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. Despite the Russian aggression, Ukraine remains a reliable guarantor of global food security. I proposed to create a food hub in Lebanon to support the country’s population,” the Head of State said.
The leaders also discussed strengthening bilateral cooperation, particularly in the trade and economic sphere.
