Wheat prices in Chicago rise amid frost in russia

CBOT wheat futures rose on May 3-9. During the week the price increased by 33.2 USc to 619.6 USc/bu.
The frost in russia caused a major reaction on the commodity exchanges, although it is not yet known how much the local wheat crop have been affected. Preliminary, losses may have occurred on an area of 250-300 K ha, which could decrease a crop by 1 M mt.
