Wheat exports from Ukraine exceeded 10 mln tons
The volume of grain and leguminous crops exports from Ukraine in the MY 2025/26 as of April 3 amounted to 26.2 million tons, which is 6.8 million tons, or 21% less than the previous season. This is evidenced by data from the State Customs Service.
Thus, more than 10 million tons of wheat were exported. This is 3.2 million tons, or 24% less than last year’s volumes.
Barley supplies to foreign markets amounted to more than 1.4 million tons. The decrease compared to the same date last season is 37%.
Rye was exported in the amount of 0.2 thousand tons, which is ten times less than last year’s 10.8 thousand tons.
Almost 14.4 million tons of corn were exported, which is 16% less than last season’s shipments.
Flour exports from Ukraine amounted to 50.3 thousand tons, which is 7% less than last year’s figure.
For reference: in the MY 2024/25, exports of grain and leguminous crops amounted to 40.6 million tons: wheat – 15.7 million tons; barley – 2.3 million tons; rye – 10.8 thousand tons; corn – 22 million tons; flour – 71.1 thousand tons.
