We must fight Russian grain imports, – Lithuanian President Nausėda

Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda supports the introduction of a ban on Russian grain imports. This is reported by LRT.
According to him, Lithuanian farmers see a problem in the fact that grain from the Russian Federation enters the country, in particular the so-called “black” grain, which is not accounted for and smuggled.
“Of course, we need to fight this, and it is quite logical given the role that this country plays in destabilizing the geopolitical situation in Europe. Therefore, I would welcome such proposals (to ban imports – Ed.), of course, we should familiarize ourselves with their specific content,” Nauseda said.
