Grain exports are 30% lower than last year’s figures
As of April 8, in the MY 2025/26, Ukraine exported 26 million 801 thousand tons of grain and leguminous crops, which is 12 million 022 thousand tons or 30.9% less than last year.
This was reported on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
As of April 8, Ukrainian wheat exports amounted to 10 million 199 thousand tons, which is 3 million 194 thousand tons or 23.8% less than last year.
Barley exports amounted to 1 million 415 thousand tons – 36.8% less compared to the same period last year. In addition, 0.2 thousand tons of rye were exported abroad.
Ukrainian corn exports amounted to 14 million 807 thousand tons, which is 2 million 870 thousand tons or 16.2% less than last year.
In addition, 50.6 thousand tons of flour (or 67.5 thousand tons in terms of grain) were sent abroad, which is 4.6 thousand tons or 8.3% less than last year.
