USDA forecast for corn crop in Ukraine remains unchanged

USDA analysts forecast the world corn production in 2024/25 season at 1 215.1 mln tonnes (+0.93 mln tonnes to the previous forecast). The estimation of the world corn exports is 188.68 mln tonnes (-2.32 mln tonnes), the forecast of the ending stocks is 287.65 mln tonnes (-1.29 mln tonnes). This is stated in the USDA report for April.
The forecast for the corn harvest in Ukraine remains unchanged – 26.8 mln tonnes, exports are estimated at 22 mln tonnes, ending stocks – 0.74 mln tonnes.
USDA analysts left unchanged the forecast for corn production in the US – 377.63 million tons, exports forecast – 64.77 million tons (+2.5 million tons), ending stocks estimate – 37.22 million tons (-1.9 million tons).

The corn harvest in China is estimated at 294.92 million tons. Imports will amount to 8 mln tons, ending stocks – 201.18 mln tons.
