Ukrainian wheat exports exceed 12 mln tons
As of March 3, in MY 2024/25 Ukraine exported 29 mln 202 thsd tonnes of grains and pulses, down 749 thsd tonnes or 2.5% compared to last year. This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
Wheat exports amounted to 12 mln 014 thsd tonnes, which is 79 thsd tonnes or 0.6% more than last year. As a reminder, the memorandum agreed the maximum export volume of wheat and wheat/rye mixture (meslin) in MY 2024/25 at 16.2 mln tonnes.
Ukrainian farmers also exported 2 mln 126 thsd tonnes of barley and 10.8 thsd tonnes of rye.
Ukrainian corn exports amounted to 14 mln 620 thsd tonnes, which is 1 mln 493 thsd tonnes or 10.2% less than last year.
In addition, 48.6 thousand tons of flour (or 64.8 thousand tons in terms of grain) were exported, which is 25.7 thousand tons or 1.52 times less than last year.
