Ukrainian grain exports reached almost 9 million tons
As of September 18, in MY 2024/2025 Ukraine exported 8 mln 940 thsd tonnes of grains and pulses, which is 3 mln 038 thsd tonnes or 51.4% more than last year.
This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
Exports of Ukrainian wheat amounted to 4 million 984 thousand tons, which is 2 million 158 thousand tons or 76.3% more than last year.
Ukrainian farmers also exported 1 million 169 thousand tons of barley and 7.5 thousand tons of rye.
Exports of Ukrainian corn amounted to 2 mln 532 thsd tonnes, which is 68 thsd tonnes or almost 2.7% more than last year.
In addition, 15.4 thousand tons of flour (or 32.3 thousand tons in terms of grain) were shipped abroad, which is 16.9 thousand tons or more than half as much as last year.
