Ukrainian grain exports exceeded 48.3 mln tons

As of June 12, in 2023/2024 MY Ukraine exported 48 mln 381 thsd tons of grains and pulses, up 1 mln 633 thsd tons or 3.4% compared to last year. This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
Exports of Ukrainian wheat amounted to 17 mln 839 thsd tons, which is 1 mln 789 thsd tons or 11.1% more than last year.
Ukrainian farmers also exported 2 million 437 thsd tons of barley and 1.6 thsd tons of rye.
Exports of Ukrainian corn amounted to 27 mln 570 thsd tons, which is 139 thsd tonnes less than last year.
In addition, 94.6 thousand tons of flour (or 126.1 thousand tons in terms of grain) were shipped abroad, which is 50.9 thsd tons, or almost 54% less than last year.
The preliminary data on grain and pulses exports were published by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy on June 7. According to them, in 2023/2024 MY Ukraine exported 47 mln 734 thsd tons of grains and pulses.
As a reminder, Ukraine has been exporting more than 3 mln tons of corn for the third month in a row.
