Ukrainian grain exports exceeded 18 mln tons
The volume of grain and leguminous crops exports from Ukraine in the MY 2025/26 as of January 23 amounted to over 18 million tons, which is 6.9 million tons, or 28% less than the previous season. This is evidenced by data from the State Customs Service.
Thus, 8.4 million tons of wheat were exported. This is 2.2 million tons, or 21% less than last year’s volumes.
Barley supplies to foreign markets amounted to over 1.3 million tons. The decrease compared to the same date last season is 35%.
Rye was exported in the amount of 0.2 thousand tons, which is ten times less than last year’s 10.8 thousand tons.
Corn was exported in the amount of 8 million tons, which is 32% less than last season’s shipments.
Flour exports from Ukraine amounted to 37.2 thousand tons, which is 12% less than last year’s figure.
For reference: in the 2024/25 MY, exports of grain and leguminous crops amounted to 40.6 million tons: wheat – 15.7 million tons; barley – 2.3 million tons; rye – 10.8 thousand tons; corn – 22 million tons; flour – 71.1 thousand tons.
