Ukrainian grain exports almost reached 17 mln tons
As of January 16, in the MY 2025/26, Ukraine exported 16 million 921 thousand tons of grain and leguminous crops, which is 6 million 983 thousand tons or 29.2% less than last year.
This was reported on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
As of January 16, Ukrainian wheat exports amounted to 8 million 237 thousand tons, which is 2 million 091 thousand tons or 20.2% less than last year.
Barley exports amounted to 1 million 322 thousand tons – 34.1% less compared to the same period last year. In addition, 0.2 thousand tons of rye were exported abroad.
Ukrainian corn exports amounted to 7 million 065 thousand tons, which is 4 million 088 thousand tons or 36.6% less than last year.
In addition, 36.0 thousand tons of flour (or 48.0 thousand tons in terms of grain) were sent abroad, which is 3.4 thousand tons or 8.6% less than last year.
