Ukrainian grain export rates lag behind last year’s figures by 35%
As of October 31, in the MY 2025/26, Ukraine exported 9 million 168 thousand tons of grain and leguminous crops, which is 4 million 972 thousand tons or 35.1% less than last year. This was reported on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
Wheat exports amounted to 6 million 185 thousand tons, which is 1 million 493 thousand tons or 19.4% less than last year.
Barley exports amounted to 1 million 089 thousand tons – 35.6% less compared to the same period last year. In addition, 0.2 thousand tons of rye were exported abroad.
Ukrainian corn exports amounted to 1 million 722 thousand tons, which is 2 million 772 thousand tons or 61.6% less than last year.
In addition, 21.3 thousand tons of flour (or 28.4 thousand tons in grain terms) were sent abroad, which is 3.8 thousand tons or 15.1% less than last year.
