Ukrainian farmers have already sown 1 million hectares of winter rapeseed

Ukraine continues sowing winter crops: rapeseed and grain. As of the second half of September, 1 mln ha of winter rapeseed was sown, 585 thou ha of grain, including 514 thou ha of wheat, 47 thou ha of barley, and 24 thou ha of rye.
Over the previous week, farmers sowed 336 thsd ha of winter crops.
Most of the winter crops were planted in Sumy region – 84 thou hectares or 81% of the forecast, winter rapeseed in Dnipropetrovs’k region – 103.6 thou hectares or 82.5% of the forecast.
