Ukrainian farmers are finishing harvesting buckwheat, soybeans and sunflowers

As of November 10, 2022, grain and leguminous crops were harvested on an area of 8.5 million hectares (76%) with a yield of 4.24 t/ha, 36.1 million tons of grain were threshed, including:
- 4.7 million hectares of wheat were threshed (100%), with a yield of 4.12 t/ha, 19.4 million tons were threshed;
- 1.6 million hectares (100%) of barley were threshed, with a yield of 3.51 tons/ha, 5.6 million tons were threshed;
- peas were threshed on 111.5 thousand hectares (100%), with a yield of 2.34 tons/ha, 261 thousand tons were threshed;
- 1.6 million ha (39%) of corn for grain were threshed, with a yield of 5.83 t/ha, 9.6 million tons were threshed;
- 112,000 ha (95%) of buckwheat were threshed, with a yield of 1.36 t/ha, 153,000 tons were threshed;
- millet was threshed on 42.6 thousand hectares (95%), with a yield of 2.31 tons/ha, 98 thousand tons were threshed.
In addition, sunflower harvesting was carried out on an area of 4.4 million hectares, (93%) threshed 9.5 million tons of seeds at a yield of 2.19 t/ha;
- soybeans were planted on an area of 1.4 million hectares, (91%) threshed 3.4 million tons with a yield of 2.4 tons/ha;
- rapeseed cultivation was carried out on an area of 1.1 million hectares, (100%) threshed 3.2 million tons of seeds with a yield of 2.89 c/ha;
- sugar beets were dug up on an area of 149,000 ha, (83%) 7.3 million tons of sweet roots were dug up with a yield of 48.9 t/ha.
Agricultural producers of Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovohrad and Odesa threshed more than 2.8 million tons of grain each.
The highest yield of grain and leguminous crops among the farmers of Khmelnytskyi region is 63.7 t/ha.
Farms in Vinnytsia, Volyn, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv, Ternopil, Khmelnytskyi and Bukovyna have finished harvesting sunflowers.
