Ukrainian farm cooperatives gain access to open soybean and rapeseed exports

Agricultural cooperatives in Ukraine can now apply for open exports of soybeans and rapeseed through the State Agrarian Register (DAR). The updated functionality allows cooperatives to combine production volumes from their member farms and centrally submit the data required for exports in electronic format.

Previously, this option was available to individual agricultural producers. It has now been extended to cooperatives exporting products on behalf of their members, improving export access for small and medium-sized farmers and simplifying the submission of required information.

Instead of each farm submitting information separately, a cooperative can consolidate data on production volumes and submit it centrally through DAR. The entire process is conducted online, reducing the administrative burden and simplifying the procedure for producers.

Key application requirements:

• applications must be submitted online through the electronic account in the State Agrarian Register;
• rapeseed applications can be submitted until April 1 and soybean applications until June 1 of the following calendar year, based on the results of the current marketing year;
• cooperatives can adjust information on harvested volumes during the application period.

The expanded DAR functionality gives cooperatives the same digital access to the open export program already available to individual agricultural producers and enables them to manage their members’ data centrally.
