Ukrainian corn exports approach 18 mln tons
The volume of grain and pulses crops exports from Ukraine in the MY 2025/26 as of May 14 amounted to 31.5 million tons, which is 5.7 million tons, or 15% less than the previous season.
This is evidenced by data from the State Customs Service.
Thus, 11.7 million tons of wheat were exported. This is 2.8 million tons, or 19% less than last year’s volumes.
Barley supplies to foreign markets are about 1.5 million tons. The decrease compared to the same date last season is 36%.
Rye was exported in the amount of 0.2 thousand tons, which is ten times less than last year’s 10.8 thousand tons.
Almost 17.9 million tons of corn were exported, which is 10% less than last season’s shipments.
Flour exports from Ukraine amounted to 55.6 thousand tons, which is 11% less than last year’s figure.
For reference: in the MY 2024/25, exports of grain and leguminous crops amounted to 40.6 million tons: wheat – 15.7 million tons; barley – 2.3 million tons; rye – 10.8 thousand tons; corn – 22 million tons; flour – 71.1 thousand tons.
