Ukrainian bran deliveries to the EU down 26%
Ukraine delivered 471 KMT of bran to the foreign markets since the beginning of the season that is up 10% year-on-year but down 15% from MY 2017/18, UkrAgroConsult reports.
Traditionally, the top importer is Turkey, which increased purchases by 30% year-on-year.
Thus, Turkey’s share in Ukrainian wheat bran exports expanded from 81% in July-April 2018/19 to 95% this marketing year.
At the same time, demand from the EU lowered by 26% from the same period last year.
MY 2019/20 has not yet witnessed any deal with Singapore, which was a regular buyer last season.
