Ukraine’s government set up a task team to regulate GMO
The Ministry for Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine has set up a Task Team to regulate genetically modified organisms.
The Team comprises the Ministry’s experts and representatives of leading industry organizations and associations, UkrAgroConsult reports.
The Task Team shall focus on the following key point:
– preparation of recommendations for adjusting Ukraine’s legislation to the EU Acts;
– preparation of questions for issue identification and elaboration of proposals for improving the state system of regulation of genetically modified organisms;
– preparation of reports on the current status of implementation of the European Union’s legal acts etc.
