Winter crops have enjoyed favorable growing conditions in April and May, though low air temperatures somewhat slowed growth of early spring crops and pulses.
Light frost on the ground had no substantial adverse impact on winter crops and early spring crops.
Winter and spring grains are in good condition. Precipitation of various intensities occurred almost all over the country, UkrAgroConsult reports.
The plowing layer (0-20 cm) and 0-100 cm layer contained sufficient and optimal amounts of effective soil moisture.
