Ukraine will remain in the grain market under any circumstances

In Geneva, during the Black Sea Grain Markets conference by UkrAgroConsult and GrainCom, participants actively touched on the topic of food security: it was discussed within the WTO Kern Group and in closed conversations in the format of the WTO’s inner sacrum.

This was announced on his Facebook page by the Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine – Trade Representative of Ukraine Taras Kachka.

According to him, the problem needs political solutions, so Operation Ocean Shield in the Strait of Aden is increasingly mentioned in the context of the problem of unblocking Ukrainian ports.

“But the best illustration of the grain trade is the composition of grain trucks in Zakhon on the Hungarian-Ukrainian border. Ukraine will remain in the grain market under any circumstances. This is not a mantra – this is reality, “Taras Kachka said.

He stressed that efforts to simplify logistics between Ukraine and the EU will bear fruit.

“But most importantly – we will be in the market as long as the world of commerce will feed the flow of grain agreements. Therefore, no matter how much politicians make an effort, the most important thing is the interest of businessmen in Ukrainian grain. Trade will save the world from hunger, “Taras Kachka concluded.
