Ukraine will reach record rapeseed and soybean processing figures this season — Ukroliyaprom
In the MY 2025/26r, Ukraine is expected to record rapeseed and soybean processing. The volume of rapeseed processing may reach 1.7 million tons (over 50% of the gross harvest), and soybeans – 3 million tons (over 60% of the harvest). This was reported by the coordinator of the Made in Ukraine policy Dmytro Kysylevsky, referring to Ukroliyaprom data.
This will allow the production of about 720 thousand tons of rapeseed oil and 600 thousand tons of soybean oil – record figures for the industry.
In July-December 2025, the processing of rapeseed into oil increased by 1.8 times compared to the previous season. Rapeseed oil exports also increased by 1.8 times, and foreign exchange earnings – by 2.2 times. Rapeseed meal production and exports increased by 1.8 and 1.7 times, respectively.
According to Ukroliyaprom, in September-December 2025, soybean oil production increased by 22.4% year-on-year, exports by 23.3%, and foreign exchange earnings by 1.5 times. Soybean processing into oil and meal exceeded its export volumes by 3.7%.
Kysylevsky believes that this growth in indicators is due to the introduction of export duties on soybeans and rapeseed.
