Ukraine. Vegetable oils production
In December 2019, vegetable oils production in Ukraine was up 9.1% year-on-year, including:
- crushers increased output of unrefined sunflower oil by 10% from a year ago and that of refined sunflower oil by 32.8%. At the same time, soybean oil production fell by 13%;
- in fact, crushers have been processing no rapeseed since three months ago;
- 8.5% more sunflower oil had been produced since the beginning of MY 2019/20 than a year earlier, with a 14.5% gain in rapeseed oil output, but soybean oil production decreased by 4.6%;
- seasonal production of sunflower and rapeseed oils stays at a record level, reports UkrAgroConsult.
