Ukraine to export at least 4.2 MMT of sunflower meal in MY 2020/21
Sunflower meal exports from Ukraine in MY 2020/21 (September-May) totaled 3794.3 KMT (-10% y-o-y). In the first nine months this season, China increased purchases by 3.5%, while the EU reduced them by 2.6%, UkrAgroConsult reports.
Ukraine’s exportable potential in MY 2020/21 is 4.2 MMT.
Growth in exports was registered to the following markets: the United Kingdom (+158%), the Netherlands (+66%), France (+23%).
A slowdown in exports was fixed to India (-90%), Spain (-50%) and Belarus (-41%).
