Ukraine. September soybean exports hit a decade low
Ukrainian soybean exports in September 2020/21 totaled 10.5 KMT (the least in ten years and down 82% y-o-y due to a late harvest and weak foreign demand), UkrAgroConsult reports.
The drop in exports concerned all major destinations: Turkey, the EU, Belarus, with no cargo shipped to Egypt.
Countries such as Hungary, Switzerland, Canada, Bulgaria were more active buyers from the very first month this season, but exports to these markets are insignificant.
A significant rise in exports was registered to China (+220%).
A fall in exports was observed to Poland (-90%), Belarus (-88%) and Turkey (-6%).
